Hi, I'm Hilbert

It was 2007.

Everything began from a simple unease at night that slowly grew into a full-blown existential crisis. At that phase in my life, there’s a question that always troubles me: “Why does my life feel empty?”

The void went on for months, taking a toll on my health.

Then one faint night, I came across a TV program that talked about how God’s love can transform a broken life into one that has meaning and purpose- through the power of the gospel.

As I watched, I saw myself as the broken man who strayed far away from God. Looking for meaning and purpose in the wrong places, only to end up empty and lost.

At that moment, I felt God’s love reaching out to me. But I also felt the guilt.

I realized that all my emptiness, worries, and fears are resulting from living a life completely apart from my Creator.

That my emptiness is the result of my sin.

That I need a Savior.

That same night, I repented of my sins and surrendered my life to Christ. â€‹I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior and committed to following Him for the rest of my life.

"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Galatians 2:20

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 ESV

Be Part Of God's Story

I’ve always thought that life is all about achieving a goal you set on your own. â€‹But I realized that a life of true meaning and purpose starts by being right with God. And the greatest obstacle that prevents us from being right with God is our sin.

Sin is anything that goes against God and His ways. And due to God’s standard of holiness and perfection, we are all guilty and deserve punishment.

Sadly, because of our imperfection, we have no capacity to cleanse ourselves from the penalty of sin. We cannot save ourselves.

Our only hope is a Savior.

And by God’s grace, He showed His love and justice by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sins by dying on the cross and rising from the dead. â€‹And the Bible says that all who put their faith and trust in Christ as Lord and Savior will be saved.

Jesus took the punishment we deserved for our sins so we can be right with God.

And now, He offers forgiveness and salvation to all who will repent and put their faith in Him.
